Hotel Restaurant De Guasco

Vriendelijke prijs voor een plek die zo dichtbij het station ligt! Het gebak was heerlijk, zowel de 3 verschillende soorten vlaai die we uitprobeerden als de kleine stukjes gebak die we bij onze koffie en thee kregen. Onze serveerster was erg aardig en toonde zich betrokken. Ze was geduldig en legde veel aan ons uit. Prima plek om te bezoeken als je even in (de buurt van) het station moet bivakkeren!

Yesterday 21/06 I ran into the bar to get a kriekbeer and a young, pleasant man served it to me but suddenly the train arrived and I had to leave, card machine was working slow and couldn't pay for it. When I came this morning to pay, the place was still closed. Very welcoming atmosphere and cool spot before or after the train BUT plan time better than I do. Also, would love to get in touch and pay for the beer 🙏

Zaterdag 13 juni 26 een kopje koffie gaan drinken. Vriendelijke bediening. Heerlijke koffie. Mooi startpunt voor een wandeling in en rondom Valkenburg. De stationnerie is gevestigd in het oudste station van Nederland. Gebouwd in 1853. Het station is tevens rijksmonument.

After a long day in the hills finding this restaurant was a blessing. The salads are fresh and tasty and the service good and friendly. Definitely would come back for the scampi salad.

A truly charming soot with beautifully presented displays and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Everything feels thoughtfully curated, making it a standout spot if you’re looking for a cozy place near the train station. What really sets this place apart is the exceptional service from the entire staff. Everyone is incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. The woman who often leads the space is especially wonderful, so personable, speaks multiple languages, and makes every guest feel comfortable and at home. You can tell the team genuinely cares about creating a great experience. We actually stopped here three times while passing through the train station, which says a lot. Consistently great service, lovely ambiance, and a place you’ll want to return to. Highly recommend if you’re in the area of Valkenburg.
