The service was actually quite slow, especially since there weren't many costumers here. I had to ask repeatedly the server to come so I could order more drinks. It's not what I'm used to in cafés which is a bit disappointing. The atmosphere is fine, nothing too crazy. I almost fell down my chair (I'm not heavily build), so that was definitely an interesting experience as well. The food was alright, I had some fries. They were fine. For the prices here I definitely expected better, the portion is alright, but for the same prices I would go somewhere else, respectfully.

Vanmiddag snelle lunch gedaan vooraf aan een afspraak in de buurt. Bediening was Amstersams vriendelijk, uitsmijter was prima. Deze was wel op harde toast ipv op normale boterhammen.

Mannelijke bediening druppelt over alles en iedereen iedere ronde ladingen bier. ZONDER enige sorry, alsof dat gewoon standaard manieren zijn daar. (Dames waren wel netjes en aardig).

One of the worst cafe experiences in 10 plus years in Amsterdam. We decided to sit down on the terrace after a long day walking around. Nobody came to our table after 15 minutes, the waitress came past and didn’t bother to ask. They even went around lighting all the candles apart from our table. I had to get up and go to inside to order. The Bitterballen took 30 minutes and were raw inside. I felt sick. Beer was flat and the wine below average. Nice location, but the whole place needs a reality check.
