I ordered the Crunchy Mac & Cheeze Betterballs, VJFBBQ Heppi Ribs, and Fresh Mint Tea. CRUNCHY MAC & CHEEZE BETTERBALLS - filled with macaroni & cheese served with VJFB™ sauce. These beautiful mac & cheeze bites were fried-tastic! The only thing I disliked was that the noodles inside were a bit mushy. I've had mac n cheese bites before where when you bit into the ball and you can actually see the noodles. That gives it an extra texture. If someone just gave me these without reading the menu, I wouldn't have known they were noodles. VJFBBQ HEPPI RIBS - the world’s first vegan ribs on black/pink bun, lettuce, pickles, crunchy chipstix, sweet VJFBBQ & hot spicy chick sauce. Oh. my. goodness. Where do I even start with this babe of a sandwich? I arrived in Amsterdam after a few long, confusing train rides from Berlin. After I checked in at the hostel, I headed straight to the Vegan Junk Food Bar. I was hungry and exhausted, but a bite of this sandwich, and I came back to life. I'm not even joking. It brought me back to the old McDonald's McRib days! However, this was so much better. The rib was oozing with bbq flavorful and was a nice hefty portion. The sandwich was well-balanced with the accompanies of lettuce, tomato, pickles, and sauce. Also, whoever had the idea to add the chipstix, is a genius! It added a perfect crunch to every bite. The only negative I will mention is as fun as the pink and black buns were, I don't think it's completely necessary. Unless they're dyed using natural ingredients, then it's okay. But if they use artificial ingredients, it doesn't need it. The sandwich is so very good by itself! FRESH MINT TEA - I loved how simple this fresh mint tea was, literally just mint and hot water. I also enjoyed the little Tony's Chocolonely chocolate treat. OVERALL - The food was delicious. The atmosphere was fun, inviting, and exciting. I was jamming out with old-school music. Also, the server was friendly, helpful, and kind. Overall, I'm a fan of TVJFB! I took a few points off for the number of paper products they use. Especially for a vegan establishment, it seems like a waste. It's cute for decor purposes, but unless it's repurposed paper, just like the colored buns, it's not necessary. Deze tent is dicht! Er zit nu een WK café.. De website is nog in werking en je kunt reserveren maar dat klopt dus niet. De Salsa Shop om de hoek biedt uitkomst (ook vegan opties).
