This review is specifically about herring, in all other aspects I'd give full stars. The herring itself was delicious, yet one of my personal metrics recquires the fish to be prepared au place, there and then. The first time, a few days ago, I overlooked the fact that it wasn't, the second time I feel I now have to deduct a star. Again, the fish was of much higher quality than in other fish shops (well, to my personal subjective taste, that is), certainly still fresh, yes, but as any fishmonger knows all too well, the moment you put them into the metal tray, the fish will change composition and taste, which means now you're catering to a wider audience who don't really care about such details as the fish is still very nice. Understandable, certainly. But alas, I am a herring loon. I would travel a continent to eat it and when I do, I want it a certain way. Like I said, this is a very personal view on the matter, I would still encourage anyone to visit this great seller.
