Tucked right next to the Nieuwe Kerk on Dam Square, it offers the perfect escape from the energetic streets of Amsterdam. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between lively and relaxed. Whether you sit inside the beautifully styled interior or grab a spot outside to people-watch on the square, it feels welcoming and comfortable. What really sets this place apart, though, is the excellent staff. Even during busy hours, the team is incredibly attentive, warm, and fast. They greet you with genuine smiles and make you feel like a valued guest rather than just another tourist passing through. As for the food, the quality is top-notch. Everything served is fresh, beautifully presented, and genuinely delicious—from their perfectly brewed coffees and traditional Dutch apple pie to their hearty lunch platters. It is clear they care about using good ingredients. If you are looking for great hospitality, a wonderful vibe, and fantastic food right in the heart of Amsterdam, ’t Nieuwe Kafé is highly recommended!
