Restaurant Alanya Heerlen

I was after a very long day of walking around Heerlen with my girlfriend and my parents, struggling to find anything that is open and reasonable price. I traveled and suddenly came up to this kebab place, and honestly? I was sceptical at first, it didn't look fancy or anything, looked like any other kebab in my country, but let me tell you, that food was DELICIOUS. It was simple, yes, but oh God it was the best kebab I ever had. I tried the kebab in the torilla-like dough, and it was stuffed to maximum. Their fries were PERFECT and the burger was so so good.. The meat was juicy, vegetables were crunchy and fresh, I was a great fan of the cucumber especially! You don't get a sauce inside, you get bottles of different sauces to choose from to pour ontop or inside of your item. They have a curry sauce, mayo, a spicy sauce of some store, but I was nicely pleased by their homemade garlic sauce and the spicy sauce of their own production. The place is owned by a lovely grandma, hers son and hers grandson. Their english isn't perfect which led to a few funny moments, but it was enough to make it work, this family is really warm too, quite open to conversations. If I would live here I would definetely come here oftem because the food was hearty and steaming, while the family provided a real nice time there even if they were busy with making meals to-go. Definitely recommend ❤️
