I've been increasingly disappointed by the big-name bakeries lately — generic flavors, declining quality (probably frozen), and zero personal touch. That's exactly what led me to Elena's Treats, and I'm so glad it did. The quality is on another level. You can taste the care and craftsmanship in every bite — fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation, and flavors that actually deliver. It's the kind of cake that reminds you what a real cake should taste like. On top of that, the personal service and attention to detail you get from a small local business like this is something no large chain can match. If you're in IJsselstein or anywhere nearby in Utrecht, do yourself a favor and skip the big ticket online cakes. Elena did such an incredible job bringing the picture I had in my head to life! I’ve always dreamed of doing a gender-reveal cake with sprinkles pouring out, and she made it absolutely perfect. The cake looked stunning, tasted amazing, and the surprise moment was everything I hoped for. Elena was so lovely to work with from start to finish! Professional, friendly and genuinely excited for us and being apart of our celebration. I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend! 🎂✨

Voor de 3e verjaardag van ons zoontje hadden we een taart besteld bij Elena en we zijn ontzettend tevreden! Goede service en communicatie en bovenal een heerlijke taart! Ook van de gasten veel complimenten gehad hoe goed die smaakte. Bedankt, Elena!

I ordered two cakes from Elena for a joint birthday party and was very pleased with the outcome. I had shared some ideas for the cake designs but allowed Elena to add her own creative touch and she did an absolutely amazing job on both cakes. We were so impressed and the cakes not only looked beautiful but also tasted really great. The flavours came through on both cakes. Furthermore, communication with Elena was smooth and clear. She gave very clear instructions on how to transport and store the cakes to keep them fresh for the party. Elena was so kind throughout and is such a lovely person and with an amazing talent. The cakes were just the cherry on the top for our birthday parties and I will definitely be ordering again with her and can't recommend her enough 😊
