I had a very disappointing experience at this café today. I came in to work for a few hours, ordered two drinks, and stayed for approximately three hours. The café was largely empty during my visit, with no waiting line and plenty of available seating. Despite this, the old man managing the café approached me and told me not to come back because I had been working there for too long and had only ordered two drinks. What made the situation particularly upsetting was the way it was handled. From the moment I ordered my first latte, I felt unwelcome and was repeatedly met with unfriendly looks from this old man, he kept glaring at me. As a heavily pregnant customer, I left feeling vulnerable, embarrassed, and disrespected. If the café has strict policies regarding laptop use, time limits, or minimum spending requirements, those expectations should be clearly communicated, especially in a tourist-heavy area like Delft where many visitors do not speak Dutch. A simple sign or written policy would prevent misunderstandings. I was also troubled by the apparent difference in treatment between myself and other customers. During my visit, other people were using laptops, yet I was singled out. As a woman of colour, I cannot ignore the fact that the manager appeared noticeably warmer and friendlier toward white customers. While I cannot know his intentions, the experience left me feeling unwelcome. I would not recommend this café to visitors looking for a comfortable place to work or relax. If this is how a heavily pregnant customer is treated, I can only imagine how others might feel.

Staff is unbelievabely friendly and polite, the toilet is wheelchair accesible and one of the cleanest I've ever seen, the prices are very reasonable, but the food could be a bit better. Still a 5/5
