We ordered the Signature soup dumplings, crabmeat soup dumplings, chicken with broccoli, and beef noodle soup. My grandchildren especially loved the soup dumplings—they were a huge hit! Every dish tasted fresh, and you could tell everything was handmade. The food was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We will definitely be back.

When you enter the restaurant you will immediately notice the penetrating sewage smell in the restaurant. I wanted to leave but my friend said maybe the food is good, so I stayed. My friend an I ordered the soup dumplings, Shanghai noodles, Taiwanese braised pork belly over rise and the scallion pancake. The Taiwanese braised pork belly and the soup dumping were ok, but the Shanghai noodles were not Shanghainese noodles but Japanese udon was used instead and didn’t taste authentic. Well, that was still fine from our side. However, the scallion pancake was even a bigger disappointment. Unlike the pictures shown on the menu, there were no scallions on the pancake. They used the frozen pancakes you buy at the Chinese super for €2,50 for 5. Instead of pan fry it they deep fry it in oil and the entire pancake was drained with oil. My friend took 1 bite and just spit it out as it was just sooo oily. We told the staff that we can not accept this because this is not what is advertised and asked if they could just change it or take it off the bill. They just told us that there is nothing they could do about it and still charged us full price (€10). So we left that place within 45 min. They can meet the standard of Western customers but they can definitely not meet the standard of Chinese customers. Not a great experience.
