HOOOW on earth did this place such a good score! I love a good simple vietnamese, but this place cannot be called vietnamese, since it doesn't really taste like...well..anything I've never left half a portion on the plate in my life, but this was the first time 20 euro for a tasteless curry with overcooked veggies, come ooon So probably either the chef has changed, or the reviews are fake, but this place is the opposite from all the other vietnamese I've tried: expensive and flavourless

Probably the best pho I’ve had in Europe. As a Vietnamese, I can honestly say this bowl of Pho Bo was outstanding. The rice noodles had the perfect texture, the beef was tender, the fresh herbs and lime were fragrant, and most importantly, the broth was clear, rich, and beautifully balanced. It tasted remarkably close to a good bowl of pho in Vietnam. After my meal, I told the cashier how much I enjoyed the pho. She kindly invited the chef to come out, and I had the chance to compliment her in person. She even shared with me how she prepares the broth. That warm conversation made the experience even more memorable. As a psychologist, I couldn’t help noticing her genuine smile, openness, and kindness. Meeting her somehow helped me understand why her pho tasted so good. It felt as though her warmth and generosity had found their way into the food she cooked. Good food brings people together, and this restaurant certainly did. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine in Groningen.
