HSS Rokin

Ruim van tevoren een diner gereserveerd voor ons 1-jarig jubileum. Enkele dagen vóór de datum ontvang ik plots een e-mail dat de reservering door het restaurant is geannuleerd. Dit vind ik erg onprofessioneel. Voor zo’n gelegenheid verwacht je op z’n minst een persoonlijke toelichting, bijvoorbeeld telefonisch, in plaats van een automatisch bericht zonder enige reden. Vervolgens meerdere keren geprobeerd contact op te nemen, verspreid over verschillende dagen, maar er wordt simpelweg nooit opgenomen. Erg teleurstellend en slechte service.

I booked table for Sunday 12 of April 18.30 and got confirmation to my email . My husband and I went there yesterday cause we wanted to try out the food and eventually have my 50s party there so that's why we wanted to see the location and try the food and guess what? it was closed and it was big signs on the windows with phone number that they are renting out the location. seems that they are bankrupt. What a shame that they don't put any information out there so we all know it is permanently close. weird enough you still can book a table and still it says it's open on the website.

It really lost its charm. Used to be a great place, and we were regular guests. New owner and the personal touch is lost. After arriving with our reservation, we were left standing in the entrance for over 10 minutes. Not offered a place at the bar or anything. Eventually we left the place. We won’t return.

They look to be permanently closed. I left a €60 deposit for the reservation but when the 6 of us arrived tonight, it was shuttered and locked. No answer to phone calls. Will contest the charge with my credit card company, but beware as they are still taking reservations
