Although the cheese is good, the service was abominable. The lady working yelled at my kids for taking too many samples (they took a few, but it was certainly not excessive). We were also making selections on what to purchase, as I went to pay I initially thought that she was getting a bag, so I politely declined the bag. The attitude she gave me as she described that it was cheese paper and not a bag!!! Wow! If I hadn’t already paid I would have turned around and walked out. Not a great way to run a business. We have encountered SO many lovely friendly people, she was absolutely not one of them. My husband apologized to her after for our kids taking too many samples, and she continued to yell at him. Just absolutely shocking poor customer service. We went to another cheese store after and had an amazing experience. I would avoid this one, at all cost! Go to “ ‘t kaas winkeltje” close by instead!!!

Popped in with wife and two sons. Were initially impressed with the shop. Sons were taking multiple samples of same cheese. Shop clerk stormed over and snatched the sample dishes away and scolded us for eating too many. We proceeded to purchase multiple blocks of cheese. Clerk was very rude during transaction, eventually thrusting cheese and cheese paper at my wife. I stayed behind to calmly offer an apology for over-sampling, which only resulted in more lecturing as she switched to Dutch to presumably insult me - I don’t speak Dutch. The experience left us regretting our purchase. We went to another cheese shop to intentionally have a positive experience, which Kaaswinkeltje provided. This clerk should not be working in the service industry and risks this company’s reputation with her terrible attitude and behaviour.
