This is our first time and our first restaurant in Zwolle and safe to say Rojas set the bar high! Food: I don't actually drink coffee but my friend does. I ordered matcha latte and my friend ordered coffee latte. Both tasted strong and served without sugar, which happened to be my preference as well. We ordered the quesadilla. The staff said it had Colombian taste, which I had never tasted before, but it was surprisingly good! The seasoning was subtle, but the combination of ingredients worked really well. The tortilla was good, salad is fresh. Overall a very nice brunch. Service: love the service! Since the first time we entered, the staff immediately greeted us and helped. When we were ordering, he also gave us recommendations (a good one, I'd say). He allowed us to order lunch even though it's still about ten minutes before lunch hour. He also offered us extra tomatoes when my friend mentioned she liked tomatoes hahah. We told him we just wanted to order one portion for both of us because we wanted to try some other food spots. When the food arrived, it was an immensely pleasant surprise that he served the quesadilla in two separate plates for us instead of making it one portion that we had to split by ourselves. Both plates were arranged like two individual portions, too, with each of our own salads, tortilla chips and the sauce. We were very touched about it ❤️ Atmosphere: super cozy and quiet, especially in the lower part. It was cool even in summer, with ambient lighting. A very minor discomfort was maybe since it was summer, there were bugs flying around. There were a fly or two and even maybe a grasshopper (?) paying a visit on our table. I imagined it could be a bit off-putting for others, but I personally didn't find it a big problem. I would totally recommend this place for everyone!

It is my first time in Zwolle and wanted to get a nice coffee, and I managed to find Rojas! A lovely coffee bar in the city centre of Zwolle. The coffee bar itself is very comfortable and cozy, a good layout with plenty of seats inside and outside of the coffee bar. So on a sunny day out, you can sit outside and enjoy the sunshine and if it’s a bit cold, there is always the indoor option. The staff there are very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Had a good chat with them to talk about the types of coffee available, and they were giving me a bit of history where their sourced and ask what type of flavours do I prefer? I made a good recommendation. When the coffee was served, it was so nice to have the option and taste freshly brewed geisha and then afterwards adding a bit of water. It made a huge difference with the taste and the barista also recommended me to try where it was like if it was cooled down. Paying for one coffee, I managed to have three different type of experience from freshly brewed to cool down it all taste very different and interesting. This place also serve other coffees such as an Americano, latte, espresso, so I filled there is something for every coffee lover. We did see they have a variety of cakes and pastries, but didn’t get to try as we already ate breakfast. They do look appetising so if you are feeling peckish, while having a cup of coffee then it is a good additional option.
