This small but wonderfully cozy shop offers an experience that goes far beyond a simple shopping trip; it is a genuine celebration of Gouda cheese that engages all the senses. What truly sets this location apart is the incredible tasting experience. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by a central tasting station overflowing with more than 20 different cheese samples, all neatly laid out with toothpicks for easy snacking . The variety is astonishing and "nearly overwhelming" in the best possible way . You can work your way through a spectrum of traditional Dutch Goudas, from young and creamy to mature and extra old, before venturing into more inventive territory. The truffle cheese is rich and decadent, the smoked varieties are perfectly balanced, and the coconut cheese offers a surprisingly delightful sweet twist . The staff are consistently described as welcoming, friendly, and incredibly patient—even when you find yourself returning to the tasting table for a third or fourth time just to be sure of your favorite . They are knowledgeable and happy to explain the origins and flavor profiles of their cheeses, making the visit both fun and educational . Lovely small shop in the middle of Utrecht that sell all different kind of cheeses. Im not the biggest fan of cheese but even I after tasting bought some cheese to bring back home with me. Helpful personel that helps you good and explain about the different kind of cheeses.

I went here to buy some cheese for my stepfathers birthday. A Ukrainian lady was very committed to help us and let us taste cheese. I have had an excellent expirience shopping here because of her. The cheese was delightful! I will definitely come back here.
