As long-time patrons of Albert Heijn, my partner and I have always valued the chain's convenience. Upon moving to the Statenkwartier in The Hague, we were pleased to find a branch located at Willem de Zwijgerlaan 51 nearby. However, our experience at this specific location has been disappointing. While we understand the physical constraints of the site, the store's layout presents significant challenges. The aisles are exceptionally narrow, which impedes customer flow, makes navigation difficult, and creates a cramped shopping environment. This layout, combined with a seemingly limited product selection due to the small floor space, transforms a routine shopping trip into a frustrating task. Given the density of the Statenkwartier neighborhood, we believe there is a strong customer base that would benefit from a more spacious and well-organized store. Currently, we often find it more practical to shop at larger supermarkets further away, like Big Jumbo, despite the less convenient location. We hope this feedback is helpful for future planning. A reconsideration of the store's layout or selection could greatly improve the customer experience at this location.
