21 Pinchos Fenixloods Rotterdam

Unfortunately the food here is just not good and extremely overpriced for what it is. Amongst other things we ordered spanish tortilla, they serve the tiniest slice (with two dry slices of baguettes and aioli, why?) for 8 EUR and it was dry. Staff ended up removing that from our bill but why the clearly not fresh and dry tortilla lands on our table to begin with at a place operating on a hefty price point. Rest of the dishes also had unbalanced flavours. 2 stars for the friendly service and atmosphere.

mooi locatie zeker in de zome zit je zalig aan het water. Druk bezocht dus reserveren is aangeraden, de bediening is vlot maars soms chaotisch, zo kregen wij soms een foute bestelling, maar zeker de moeite om te bezoeken.

Met collega’s gegeten bij pinchos en het was een geweldige ervaring. Alle gerechten waren heerlijk en de service was supervriendelijk en attent. We hebben ontzettend genoten. We komen zeker nog eens terug, hopelijk met beter weer zodat we kunnen genieten van het prachtige terras!

Sitting outside on the terrace offers a fantastic vibe, especially on a clear day when you can enjoy the breeze, watch the water, and soak in the harbor atmosphere. It’s an ideal spot for a leisurely lunch, a sunny afternoon drink, or an energized dinner with friends. The Food The menu offers an extensive selection of pinchos and classic tapas, but the seafood and simple starters are where the kitchen really shines. Bread and Spreads: To kick off the meal, the rustic bread platter shown in 1000124202.jpg is a simple but beautifully executed starter. The bread arrives perfectly sliced with a wonderfully crisp, golden crust and a soft, airy interior. It is served alongside a vibrant, rich olive oil and a smooth, seasoned aioli topped with fresh chives—essential for fueling up while you wait for the warm tapas to arrive. The Standout: Grilled Octopus: The absolute highlight of the meal was the fresh octopus, beautifully captured in 1000124205.jpg. A single, generous tentacle is grilled to perfection, achieving a lovely light char on the outside while remaining incredibly tender and succulent on the inside—never rubbery. It's served over a rich pool of olive oil, garnished with sweet blistered cherry tomatoes, vibrant microgreens, and a generous dusting of smoky Spanish paprika. The freshness of the seafood is undeniable, making this dish an absolute must-order.
